This month has been pretty busy for us. McKay turned 3, we as a family went to Park City and we also went camping for the first time and last time this year (no thanks to the very wet summer (june) we had). McKay got a new bike for his birthday and loves it. He still hasn't mastered the peddling thing down yet but is working very hard at it.
We went camping last weekend and celebrated Roberts birthday. The old man turned 34!!! Caitlin had a blast becoming better on her motorcycle and Lauren was very happy to have the small 4-wheeler to her self (minus Mom or Dad behind her teaching her the ways of the dirt road).
I am so glad the kids have never fought Robert or I to put their helmets on. They know they don't even look at the ATV's with out their helmets and gloves on.
The wildflowers were beautiful and in full bloom since the snow just melted off of the ground about a month ago. Lauren picked some wild flowers and brought them to me the first day we were there.
Our home on wheels!!!
And we brought our two best friends. Copper and Dawson love to go camping but most of all, love to run with the four wheelers.
Early Saturday morning this is what we woke up to. I heard the cows mooing but thought they were farther away than 10 feet in front of our trailer. The kids unfortunately woke up with the cows and thought it was funny to see the cows so close to us. McKay talked about it all day long.
And....Lauren and Caitlin started their first day at school. Caitlin is in 5th grade and Lauren is in 1st.
I walked Caitlin to her class first and then Lauren. McKay was in the stroller( we walked to school). When he and I were leaving Laurens class he turned to me and in a very sat voice he said," Nana" ( which means Lauren in his language). I told him Lauren is staying at school and he responded by saying," Nana go home." Its so sad to be the youngest and be left behind.

Loved the post and pictures! The camping trip looks so fun and cows in the morning. You couldn't have planned a more fun trip for the kids.
ReplyDeletePompa and I are glad they enjoyed their first day of school, minus McKay who all knew he would miss Nanna. Thanks for the fun pictures! xoxoxo
Happy Birthday, McKay!
ReplyDeleteCaitlin looks so old in her school picture!
Caitlin doesn't look too happy in her first school day picture. Buck up little camper!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun trip for everyone before school and work trips. Where did you go camping? It looks great.
ReplyDeleteLucky! Not only do you have the beautiful scenery of Utah, but got all the rain that Oklahoma is used to. That is great that you were able to have such a fun family trip before school started. Your kids are getting so big...and we are missing all of it :( Keep the pics/post coming!
